Keys Finally

We got keys to our new house finally.

Keys to every door.

The Realtor gave us a gift.

The teenager, my man and myself wandered through the place disbelieving that it is finally all ours.

This week is being spent cleaning, painting and doing renovations.

We move in on Sunday.

It is all so hard to believe, and yet so very exciting.

Tomorrow at 3:20 we are supposed to find out if we are having a boy or a girl.

There is so much going on right now, that I may just burst.

Hooker-Upper

I slept in this morning, and was awake for ninety minutes before falling back into deep slumber for another hour and a bit. Greatly needed rest, especially after my late bed time last night coming home from Singles Speed Dating.


My man made me lunch, which was sweet. I was confident that my nauseousness was due in part to my being starving, and luckily food seemed to remedy the situation.

After lunch I hooked up everyone via email who was interested in being matched up with attendees from last nights event. I officially am a Hooker-Uppper. Speed Dating went so extraordinarily well, that we've decided to make it a bi-monthly offering on our calendar. If you missed this one, don't miss the next, it was a wonderful night of getting to know other single members.

We spent the early afternoon packing the remains of our kitchen and bathroom. You see, tomorrow we get the keys to our house. The movers don't move us till next Sunday, so we have a week of renovations' and painting to contend with before our belongings make the leap to a new city.

This evening I swung by Libido Lounge and hosted a new member orientation class, which went predictably well. I could run these in my sleep I have done so many now.

Then I drove home and picked up my guy and we headed out for dinner together and a quick stop for minimal groceries.

Now back at our nest I am in bed typing madly (supposedly working) on my laptop, he is on his computer watching a movie at his desk and the teenager just graciously gave me a ten minute back rub.

I am quite obviously pregnant these days. My boobs are massive, nipples are growing, my belly is swelling and my back is aching. The proud daddy keeps kissing my belly and telling me how beautiful I am. Fortunate I am to be so loved and cherished.

Tuesday we hope to find out if we are having a girl or a boy.

Speed Dating Vancouver

Tonight's Speed Dating at The Lounge was a riot. It was by far, in my opinion, the best new event I've created in awhile.

We had so much fun, that three and a half hours just flew right on by. I am confident that everyone had a good experience as well.

It is so rewarding to run an event that meets the specific needs of our single members, and them alone.

We are going ahead and booking it again for August, it is now to be an every-other-month happening.

I had a "procedure" done today.

It was necessary that I be sedated, so Ativan I was given. (to keep me calm)

I opted out of anesthetic.

Olympic Tickets for the Family

This morning a bevy more tickets went up for grabs on the Vancouver 2010 website. We tried for some time to log in and only found ourselves being held in their virtual waiting room whilst every thirty seconds the page refreshed and by lottery we were entered into whether or not we would be granted access to purchase tickets.

No such luck.

Off we went to the bank where we finished the paperwork on our new house, and a life insurance package. A feeling of maturity washed over me as I signed the papers and realized the commitment that had just been made.

We then hit a store that sold baby clothes, and I found a lot of items that were so adorable that I just had to have them. RC bought me everything I had in my arms, and I left most pleased with the new purchases.

Once we arrived home, I attempted to gain access to the Olympic website, and this time made it in on my second try. Who would have thought this possible? Certainly not me.

In short order, we had ourselves tickets for Ice Hockey. Damn am I ever pleased that we persisted in acquiring these.

Despite my feelings on how the Olympic committee has treated British Columbians, I want my daughter and us all to have the experience of being part of such a memorable time in BC's history.

Now, time for a nap.

Forty years ago, patrons and supporters of the Stonewall Inn in New York City resisted police harassment that had become all too common for members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community. Out of this resistance, the LGBT rights movement in America was born. During LGBT Pride Month, we commemorate the events of June 1969 and commit to achieving equal justice under law for LGBT Americans.

LGBT Americans have made, and continue to make, great and lasting contributions that continue to strengthen the fabric of American society. There are many well-respected LGBT leaders in all professional fields, including the arts and business communities. LGBT Americans also mobilized the Nation to respond to the domestic HIV/AIDS epidemic and have played a vital role in broadening this country's response to the HIV pandemic.

Due in no small part to the determination and dedication of the LGBT rights movement, more LGBT Americans are living their lives openly today than ever before. I am proud to be the first President to appoint openly LGBT candidates to Senate-confirmed positions in the first 100 days of an Administration. These individuals embody the best qualities we seek in public servants, and across my Administration -- in both the White House and the Federal agencies -- openly LGBT employees are doing their jobs with distinction and professionalism.

The LGBT rights movement has achieved great progress, but there is more work to be done. LGBT youth should feel safe to learn without the fear of harassment, and LGBT families and seniors should be allowed to live their lives with dignity and respect.

My Administration has partnered with the LGBT community to advance a wide range of initiatives. At the international level, I have joined efforts at the United Nations to decriminalize homosexuality around the world. Here at home, I continue to support measures to bring the full spectrum of equal rights to LGBT Americans. These measures include enhancing hate crimes laws, supporting civil unions and Federal rights for LGBT couples, outlawing discrimination in the workplace, ensuring adoption rights, and ending the existing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy in a way that strengthens our Armed Forces and our national security. We must also commit ourselves to fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic by both reducing the number of HIV infections and providing care and support services to people living with HIV/AIDS across the United States.

These issues affect not only the LGBT community, but also our entire Nation. As long as the promise of equality for all remains unfulfilled, all Americans are affected. If we can work together to advance the principles upon which our Nation was founded, every American will benefit. During LGBT Pride Month, I call upon the LGBT community, the Congress, and the American people to work together to promote equal rights for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

New Floggers for Classes

Oh my order has been shipped and my excitement is almost bursting out of me.

I started shopping around for floggers about six weeks ago and was astounded at the variety that I was able to unearth that fell within my precise parameters.

I ordered thirteen, all identical. And I ordered them from a local fellow I know that always has incredible stuff. He was more than pleased to hear from me and to outfit my teaching collection with what I required.

Yesterday he emailed me to say that they are been shipped out to me. This is just awesome as I have wanted and needed these floggers for classes for some time now.

As an added bonus, my dear friend also offered me some additional free items for ordering through him. I choose wisely from his website and now have a nice new toy for myself coming as well. Wielding it will make me very happy.

Couples Bath House Vancouver

Last night was Sultry, our couples only bath house party. We've been hosting this monthly for over a year now and it's an event that I always look forward to and enjoy immensely.

To be honest as you've likely gathered, I have been experiencing some rough bouts with my pregnancy thus making me feel rather under-the-weather almost daily.

RC is away right now in Quebec attending a medical conference, which meant my night at Sultry was a solo one. No partner to assist me with set up and take down let alone to meet my carnal desires.

Knowing I was flying on my own and not feeling top top, I had contacted a few friends whom I knew were on the guest list and asked them to arrive early to do the set up for me under my direction. All three couples showed up and arranged the place just so. I was most pleased by their assistance and of course company too.


The place started to fill up in short order and the party was fast underway. With little energy in me, I still managed to make my rounds checking in on couples and instigating trouble where need be.

We only did one group game, it was the huge shower scene, the ice breaker if you will. It went on for quite some time. There was an obscene amount of people gathered naked enjoying the lather and bubbles with one another. With out doubt new friendships were made in the shower room.

The women put on "a little show for the men" and they were sure appreciative. I know the ladies adored their time frolicking with one another and the men's response too. To thank the women, the men then put on a show for us, and without giving away details I will only say that they well, spend some time with the other men doing things that made the ladies scream and shout.

By the time the shower antics ended, people were screwing all over the place, and those that were not, well they were busy in deep conversations with others they'd just met.

Both the saunas had action going on in them, but more so the five beds in the back were pretty much all occupied for the better part of the rest of the night. Happy relations were happening every time I walked through.

I was most pleased to see plenty of people swapped off with new acquaintances and old friends rekindling relations with one another. A few Lounge members were on dates with other Lounge members and I noted that they seemed to be rather happily engaged in activity as well.

At nights end, I looked up to see that most of the people who had shown up early to assist me with set up had already taken on the task of take-down. They did so with great efficiency and I sat back as they packed up the remains of the party, then they loaded the vehicle for me.

Feeling spoiled as hell by all the help, I was most flattered by what happened next. One of the couples announced their attention to follow me back to The Lounge so they could unload all the gear for me.

After saying good night to everyone that remained, I drove off to our space and let my friends unpack my vehicle.

The night was a riot, and I feel blessed to be surrounded by such supportive, gracious friends.

Early this morning a friend came by to pick up a whole bunch of childrens items for her girls that my daughter has long since outgrown. It felt good to see the stuff go to a good home and to know that we wouldn't be packing it off to our new house.

The cat vomited a massive hair ball today, yesterday she puked and peed on my chair. She may be more stressed out about our big move than even me.

Imagine my horror when two different people approached to ask if I was ok. What to say at a time like this. Oh yes, I am fine, and please don't step in my puke, or I'll be mortified. Thank you for checking on me. Holding my own hair back and stating pregnancy nauseousness was enough to send one man on his way, but the second woman really wanted to assist me. It was quite sweet, but the last thing I want when vomiting is someone helping me.

Today was a first, I went and bought baby stuff, all in greens, oranges and yellows. I found some of the cutest stuff imaginable, and all in new born size. Then I came home and promptly fell asleep in a deep much needed nap.

Lucky me

I have done plenty of shopping, in fact, bags full.

The sun has been amazing and my man and I both have a tonne of color.

We've been treated like royalty all weekend and loved every minute of it.

Connected with old friends and met plenty of new ones.

The sex was really special and quite varied for us.

We've eaten out some scrumptious meals.

I love my life.

Tomorrow I am in prison.

Travelling for pleasure

We left early this morning on an adventure, arriving at our destination by mid afternoon.

It feels so good to be far from home, the change of pace is long over due.

Our weekend consists of shopping, friends, sex and gorgeous luxurious hotel suite.

The Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine requires one more person for a male physical exam on June 9.

The male exam is performed at the Boucher Clinic by 2nd year naturopathic medical students and supervised by board certified naturopathic doctors. Each exam will include the following: examination of penis and testicular exam, assessing for hernias, and a rectal and prostate exam. A total of 3 students will perform a male exam on each of the models.
