What a grand night it was. Eighteen of us gathered round the dinner table for Deviant Dining to dine with one another, and then to listen to our special guest presenter.
Derek came in on behalf of the BCCDC and did a wonderful job of embracing our members questions. His presentation was top notch, and he covered lots of ground on the enormously heady topics of STI's, non monogamy, and safer-sex practices for those involved in sex culture.
It was refreshing to listen to an expert cite accurate sex information as opposed to the misinformation I regularly overhear and read others giving as though they are handing out factual data, when in fact they are not. Derek handled everything with such professionalism due to his being a street nurse of ten years with a plethora of experience.
