I did not arrive home till well after one o'clock this morning, as I was at Dirty Girls. It was a splendid evening of debauchery indeed. Which is of course, a work event for me
For some god-forsaken reason, I awoke way too early and was out of the house with RC around ten thirty to tend to some domesticity. These things need to happen from time to time. Today was that luck day.
After much running around, we got ourselves some lunch and ate and talked for a few hours. It seems that all we did through the holidays including up to now, has been to eat, this really needs to stop. Soon.
By the time we got home, I had work piled up on my desktop and in my email accounts, but no real time to deal with any of it.
Instead we had sex, the type that involves lots of oral, then some serious thrusting and finally contented orgasms. After wards there was no cuddle time.
We spent the evening out eating *more* food at an Italian restaurant with a bunch of RC's colleagues from work, then when my pants and belly felt just about ready to explode, we left. Only of course to drive to a casino where we met all the same group to continue our merry night out of drinks, conversations and being silly. As the non drinker, I am the designated driver in our family, and damn if it wasn't snowing, again.
Perhaps if I ever find the time to get in a decent number of hours of sleep, I'll tell you a little more about how the delicious Dirty Girls party went. In fact, a certain woman who attended (N) wrote something on her blog about our antics, and once she gives me the A-Ok, I have plans to repost it here for you to read. It's just such an excellent account of one woman's view point of how the evening was spent.

Farewell
My last 36 hours have been crapastic and this hideous stress is all due to family drama.
It can be said that one side of my family has their head in the sand regarding my profession and this regularly makes for awkward conversations. Not being able to share who I am weighs on me greatly and is a source of discontent for my daughter too as she is made to curtail her speaking to appease our family.
I have accepted for too long being dismissed by certain relatives during family talks, and I have overlooked their eye rolling and heavy sighs when I mention my own work schedule and professional commitments.
I have come to a point in my career and age in life where being treated as less important than other family members or simply neglected is not acceptable. In fact, it is no longer going to happen.
As my relatives have yet in over a decade to get past their biases, ignorance and insecurities regarding my professional life the place they hold in my life has now shifted completely.
Though not severing ties with these people, I have employed / ordered Call Screen (they can't reach our phone number) through Telus and am no longer investing energy in them. As I am so unworthy in their eyes, my lack of communication with them should not even be noticed.
I am not the only one who is pissed right off, my daughter and RC are equally outraged and they too have felt and seen the treatment I receive. Being the bigger person here, I have taken the lead to separate myself from their dis function.
My career pays my bills, feeds my child, invests in our future and is building a successful business at a fast pace . That my family plays dumb over it all is insulting.
Then their is RC's family and it is just the opposite with them. I have their respect and their support, they treat me as an equal and value my contribution to my family and the world in general.
I will not be poorly treated and officially have ended an abusive and damaging relationship. I actually feel good about my decision to set myself free.

Make this day be over
This photo nicely captures how I feel at this moment and most often in my life. The last nine hours have been draining emotionally, the day has left me ready for a fresh one.
Bring it on, let's see Friday, because with it comes Dirty Girls, our women's only play party. To say I am eager is an understatement.

Bondage & Body Painting Photos
I have spent the better part of the past few days, readying myself for next week. You see for four days, I am engaged in a massive undertaking.
Since 2002, I have been with The Taboo Sex Show, and this year is no exception. I am on contract with them and teach classes from my Erotic Arts Curriculum for the show each year.
This year I have eight classes that I am leading and my time slots are by far the best attended of all. It is a highlight of my year to teach for them as I look forward to January as the time I get to meet so many sexual explorers all at once, and over such a condensed period of time.
You'll find me teaching
Aside from my classes, this year I was also hired to coordinate a team of wonderful people who will be working at the show for a booth. It is a real joy to be such an integral part of such a phenomenal yearly event.
In 2008 I traveled with Taboo to Edmonton and to Calgary and in the coming months will be going across the Prairies
continuing my merry educating path. I so love my life.
Anyways, I went back into the archives of my professional portfolio and pulled forth two photos from the 2003 sex show. Enjoy the memories, many of you knew me even back then.
This is my then partner Jim and I on stage teaching "Tie Me to The Bed Posts Please to the audience. 2003

Asphyxiation Death
This sad but very true store has further affirmed for me, why practicing what some call "breath play" is so not worth the risks associated with it.
Over the years I have known a number of people who engaged in the practice of asphyxiation but the draw was never there for me. As a person who believes in safer sex, the notion to do this and call it sexy, safe or exciting is baffling to me. As a mother, the risk is more than I am willing to take.
Read this article and remember well, that it could happen to you too, if you play along with this deadly practice.

DA: Jumper strangled girlfriend
Tuesday, December 30, 2008 8:06 AM EST
By KEITH PHUCAS
Times Herald Staff - Norristown, and Montgomery County, PA
COURTHOUSE — A Bridgeport man who decapitated himself jumping off the Dannehower Bridge Saturday afternoon had apparently accidentally strangled his live-in girlfriend while the two were having sex, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.
Just before 2 p.m., 43-year-old James F. Goeke drove a burgundy minivan halfway across the northbound side of the bridge that crosses the Schuylkill River, and parked the vehicle on the shoulder.
The man tied a rope to the minivan’s back seat and put the other end around his neck and jumped off the bridge, and after “falling a great distance,” the rope decapitated him. His body and head landed on Barbadoes Island, according to District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman.
Upper Merion and Norristown police were the first on the scene and saw the man on the railing with a rope around his neck. “Upon arrival of police officers, (Goeke) jumped off the bridge,” the DA said.
When investigators later went to Goeke’s Belmont Village apartment on Ross Road, they immediately smelled “the odor of death” even before entering the unit, Ferman said. Minutes later, police found a woman’s badly decomposed body under a blanket in the master bedroom.
Investigators determined the dead woman was 42-year-old Michelle Kavenaugh, who lived in the apartment with Goeke. She was naked and lying on her back and had a belt from a cloth robe around her neck, according to authorities.
“It appeared the two were involved in consensual sexual relations,” the DA said. “This appears to be an accidental killing.”
Investigators believe the homicide inside the Belmont Village Apartments unit occurred within the past week.
Goeke left behind a signed suicide note on a computer table in the residence’s living room that read: “I’m sorry. It was an accident. It was too late to save her. I’m going to join her now. I’m sorry.”
“He was so devastated, he took his own life,” Ferman said. “Clearly, this is a tragedy all the way around.”
An autopsy performed Sunday concluded Kavenaugh’s death was caused by ligature strangulation.

Worth bragging about
I am surrounded by many, many wonderful friends and volunteers.
Today my man and I ran Member Orientation and another dozen people, were processed through as members of Libido Lounge. A half dozen men and a half dozen women. Sweet.
That RC is always at my side, and so lovingly, well it is just a dream come true. His efforts to assist me with my work load, are so appreciated. With out him, much of what I do would go unaccomplished or be half complete. I love him dearly.
After Orientation there was an hour long break so we could set-up for Exploratorium. Half of the new members from orientation stayed on for the next event, and another eleven joined them, making the head count of attendees seventeen. Add in eleven volunteers, plus myself and you have twenty nine people. Everyone sampled our booths, and everyone was laughing, exploring, pushing their boundaries, facing fears, learning new techniques and meeting new people. The event had such a great turn-out, despite the weather being so cold and the yucky snow.
It took eleven volunteers to make Exploratorium happen. Each arrived on time and shared their skill sets and enthusiasm with all. That I can count on these friends monthly for this awesome event is huge, they are the back bone of the Lounge, the glue, they are all members themselves and share my passion for Libido Lounge and sex positivity.
I thank each of you from the bottom of my heart. Know that each attendee today who sampled your booth and it's offerings entrusted you with themselves and this happened because I trust you. You have earned my respect, trust and admiration and freely it is yours.
Some of you I love, and all of you I admire. I am honored to call you all my friends and blessed that you gift the Lounge with your time.

Disbelief
More food eaten.
Gifts boxed up for the return home.
Bags packed.
Stuck in ice, wheels spinning out of control.
Jeep died.
Called BCAA.
Vehicle towed to a garage.
We were driven to the ferry terminal. Became walk-ons, with most of our luggage. (the remains at my folks place)
Bus ride from hell, from Horseshoe Bay to downtown, Upper Levels Highway closed due to snow.
SkyTrain from downtown, to close to home.
Walk with luggage to home.
Survived the trek, arrived back to our nest. No one speaking to one another, we are all exhausted, and in need of down time.
Today could not have been any more hectic and fucked up. Well ok, it could have, but I REFUSE to think about how that could have happened.

Gifts
At my folks place still, the island has copious amounts of snow. My grand-parents came over this afternoon and evening for dinner, gifts and visiting. It has been a nice time seeing everyone, however I would like to see the holidays over finally.
I continue to eat too much food and nap daily. Not my usual way to spend a day. I am so eager to resume my regular routine.
The gifts I have been given this year have left me feeling super spoiled, very well loved and guilty of gluttony. I have lots of unpacking of new stuff to do and much reorganizing to take care of to make room for all the booty.
We leave here tomorrow and Sunday is a busy work at The Lounge. Monday school starts and the teenager is back to her normal schedule.
Are you coming to Member Orientation or Exploratorium? You should come out and take in each of these special events. We have a load of our volunteers booked who are all eager to show each of you something new, and a good time too!
XXXOXOXO

Sleepy
This may seem hard to believe, but I am freaking exhausted. Surprise you? I think not.
You should know that NYE at The Lounge was over the top fun, and a great night, holy crap did we ever have riot. Everyone ate, drank, played, won prizes, laughed, got kissed, hugged, or had some form of sex. Outrageous evening, and what little clothing people had on, would have knocked your socks off to see.
Then, we got to bed at 3 in the morning and awoke promptly to the alarm at 9. Drove to the BC ferries and took one over to the island. We've been here visiting my folks all day and will remain here till late Saturday when we return home.
Normally we would stay longer over on this side of the pond, but we need to return because this Sunday is Member Orientation and following it an hour later, is Exploratorium.
It has been an excruciatingly long past 10 days or so, what with all the holiday happenings and such. I am just so grateful that we return to a somewhat less rigorous schedule shortly minus the hustle and bustle of Christmas so that I can do some thing other than eat, party and travel to visit family.
What I am most looking forward to is Cuba. 25 days and counting.

Vancouver Celebration
I spent most of yesterday, readying for tonight's New Years Eve celebration.
I am too busy right now too feel tired, and I have to be up at 6:15AM, as I have places to be VERY early. This makes me feel grumbly already. Not-a-morning-person these days.
Ok, time for me to get my work done, so I can actually catch some shut eye.
- The food has been purchased and unloaded into the cupboards and fridge.
- The liquor was chosen and bought and is on the counter tops.
- The door prizes are packaged and ready for lucky winners.
- The guest list grew even larger today, and is printed ready to go.
- My clothing choice has been made and sits awaiting me to wear it at the right time.
- E-mail reminders regarding the event have been sent.
- Daughter is away for a few days.
- Volunteers are lined up and set to an hourly schedule.
- New Art Work for the Lounge is framed and ready to be seen by all. (boy bits)
- Music was ordered from a DJ.

Beautiful toes
Though we've fumbled with "intimate relations" they were mere attempts at pleasure, and not so successful.
This evening, I am proud to say, I was able to lavish my mans cock with enough of my masterful oral techniques to finally give him an orgasm. He levitated off the bed as he came and I was just ecstatic to be back in my groove again.
Relearning how to have sex again at our ages, is sure a hell of a lot of fun. Though seriously just a tad bit angst filled, as neither of us wants to hurt the other while we are still in the healing process.

Bathroom Stress
I find it incomprehensible that I live in the same house with the person who put the toilet paper roll on, upside down.
TP should come over the top and cascade down like a fountain. Not fall from the underside and continue falling to the floor.
GASP
Love can only over-look so many faults, this is truly unsettling.

Sexy Sayings
I was gifted by my in-laws this holiday season with a rather large, impressively soft, black lambskin. It is stunning.
RC looked at it and promptly said "for the black sheep of the family, how fitting". He was of course joking, but it really was rather funny.
My mother in law gave me a package of kleenex in my stocking that said "How much do you want Santa, for your list of Naughty Boys?" I was so tickled to receive this, she knows me oh so well. Then again she should, as she reads my blog, as one would read the morning paper.
I am blessed to be surrounded by such love and by such awesome family.

Lovers in Cuba
I am feeling abundantly loved. It is such a wonderful feeling.
In thirty days we leave for Cuba.
We have plans on swimming with dolphins and a night in Havanna.
The resort is simply gorgeous, we've been researching it on the internet and making plans.
I intend on doing a lot of tanning, beach walking and relaxing in a chaise lounger with an umbrella in my icy drink.
Admiring the stunning scenery and with nothing else to do, but soaking it all in as only someone on vacation can do.

Braving travel
Only for family would I awaken at eight in the morning over the holidays. We had a reservation to keep, and by god we did it! We made it to our destination in a timely manner, and the weather did not interfere one bit. Thankfully.
We spent the day far from home, and surrounded by a large group of merry people. More gifts, tons of food, catching up on conversations, and general relaxing. Today was great.
Travel really takes a toll on a person , as does all the food we have consumed. This evening will have us to bed at an early hour, the three of us are wiped.

Flying High
Today we slept in. The teenager awoke us late morning by poking me repeatedly. She had her stocking in hand, and a huge smile on her face.
RC and I sat up in bed and watched her tear into her huge over-sized sock which was overflowing with booty. Photos were taken and we all looked happy and disheveled.
Off to living room we moved next, the presents were spread under the tree awaiting everyone.
We noticed that Santa had drank all the scotch left out, eaten the cookies and fed the carrots to the reindeer. Surprise!
It took an hour and twenty minutes to get through all the paper ripping, gift ogling, present exchanging, trying on of new items and giddy laughter too.
We three, are heading off to Cuba on a family holiday - this is the BEST Christmas gift ever. All of us are super excited - I have never before been to a communist country, it should be enlightening to say the least. We are booked into an incredible resort, with oodles of amenities in Varadero, we also have a day-trip and overnight in Havanna to look forward to. One month until we fly away.
Whatever your December 25 finds you doing or celebrating - I hope you have a good one.
It's Christmas in our house, I am surrounded by family and love and am so very happy.
Enjoy the snow, and stay warm.

Scotch for Santa
This has been quite the day for me. I am exhausted.
Earlier this afternoon I went for a walk through the deep snow, to trek off to the liquor store. What should have been an eight minute walk, in reality took me twenty or so minutes. What a cold ordeal, despite my get-up. Gloves, pocket warmers, cords, knee socks, leg warmers, a hoodie, a vest, a long sleeve shirt, a hat and a long scarf. I was bundled up all cozy.
I don't even drink at all, though my guy needed some Baileys for his Christmas morning coffee so I obliged and set forth to make the purchase.
Then I continued on for another ten minute walk to another store where I bought three large steaks.
Promptly I turned around and walked home. Though on my way shopping the wind and snow was at my back. On my return trip, the snow was blowing in my face and right into me. I was so not impressed.
When I finally saw home, my daughter opened the door and looking at me burst out laughing. Apparently I looked like the abominable snow woman. Scary really and damn cold. I stripped out of my freezing cold clothes and grabbed the hair dryer to warm my legs and dry my soaking wet hair.
Did not take long for me to fall asleep on the couch for a brief nap. I awoke startled beyond belief, by the sounds of crashing snow. The white stuff on our slanted roof became so heavy, that it had slid right off and landed with a HUGE boom onto our porch, it scared me bad, the cat too and the teenager. Wild, it was a large dump of snow.
I put on a robe, gum boots and a hat, then went outside and shoveled the porch - it took me thirty minutes to clear away the snow slide that had happened. Thank you mother nature.
Into the kitchen and I got everything ready to stuff my infamous twice-baked, baked potatoes. 4 large potatoes cut in half and baked, then hollowed. 3/4 of a pound of bacon fried and diced with onion. 3/4 of a cup of cream cheese, fresh cracked pepper, and grated cheddar cheese. Then I put on a pair of latex gloves and stuffed the contents all mashed together into the potato shells before baking them again.
While the baked, I BBQ'd the steaks. After a great family dinner, the three of us are now all in the master bedroom on laptops doing fun stuff and generally hanging out together.
Soon we will all cuddle together and read our traditional book "Twas The Night Before Christmas". Then we will leave some scotch, cookies and carrots out for Santa and reindeer and we will turn off all the lights and go to sleep.
Hope your Christmas eve is blessed and peaceful.

Hope your Christmas eve is blessed and peaceful.

For Paul...
I spent some time today, pondering all that I am grateful for. Today is historically a BIG day in my life and has been for well over a decade. I could give thanks on New Years but it is this day that makes me reflect on my blessings.
- a daughter that is growing into a young woman: she is wise, worldly, loving, carefree, beautiful, intelligent, crafty and people oriented
- a man in my life for two years now who loves me unconditionally, is handsome, educated, caring, generous and a family kind of guy
- a woman whose been a constant in my life for over eight years: we are in love, committed and stronger together every year
- good physical health that has not wavered all year
- contentment and peace of mind
- a business that is thriving and growing
- a career that is on the climb exponentially
- plans on a pregnancy and a baby in 2009
- no debt, not one dollar, zero
- an upcoming trip to Cuba & another to Disneyland
- a collection of friends that support me whole heartily
- a posse of Lounge Members that are the corner stone of Libido Lounge
- family ties that are stronger than the year before
- a new outlook on life that is refreshing for me and those around me
- substantially huge teaching contracts for 2009
- no vices (outside of sex and love)
- a strong drive towards gaining my masters degree in the coming year
- multi-orgasmic (must give thanks for this)
- the ability to have outside paid help that makes my professional and personal life easier
